Carrie’s wedding dress sells out online

The striking Vivienne Westwood gown which Carrie wore in the Sex And The City movie when she attempted to marry Big went on sale via every fashionista’s favourite website Net A Porter yesterday – and it's totally sold out already! There’s now a waiting list for the champagne silk gown, which costs $9,875 in American money – ie relatively cheap, considering it’s such an iconic dress. Still, perhaps people don’t want to jinx their own nuptials by getting married in something Carrie was so famously jilted in. So, would you pay £7,000 to look just like Carrie on her wedding day, or would you stick with something a bit more classic?
